At Laurent and Mathilde's

LAURENT AND MATHILDE PROJECT | June 2022

 

Laurent and Mathilde occupy an apartment in the 9th arrondissement of Paris and their desire was to make their decoration current, contemporary and colorful. 

For this project I imagined a large functional and aesthetic custom-made piece of furniture, with brass and wood finishes and a slightly chalky coral style paint, called "coral brick" from chez @blimepaint ! I created a niche there to install comfortable seating for the dining area. In this same niche, I placed wallpaper from the “Wolf” collection by  in the background.@muesdesign ! And finally to play on the complementarity, I came to punctuate the space with blue. It is found through the custom-made velvet seats and backs and through the cushions @madura also!

Oh yes, and as a separation between the dining/living room and the kitchen, I created an elegant and refined custom wooden canopy.
